1. Introduction

By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms in their entirety.

2. Products

We sell climbing equipment and accessories. Product descriptions and images are provided for informational purposes and may vary slightly from the physical item. We make every effort to display product information as accurately as possible.

3. Orders

An order is confirmed only after you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to cancel any order in case of stock unavailability, payment issue, or suspected fraud, in which case you will be fully refunded.

4. Pricing

All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include applicable VAT where required. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the one displayed at the time of purchase.

5. Payment

We accept payment via PayPal and credit/debit card (via Shopify Payments). All transactions are secured and encrypted. We do not store your payment details.

6. Shipping

We ship to: France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.

7. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, notify us at support@thechalkco.com before the withdrawal period expires. You must then return the item(s) in their original condition within 14 days of notifying us.

We will refund your order (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method as your original purchase. Return shipping costs are at your expense unless the item is defective or incorrect.

8. Warranty

All products sold on thechalkco.com benefit from the EU legal guarantee of conformity (2 years from delivery) and the legal guarantee against hidden defects. If you receive a defective or incorrect product, contact us at support@thechalkco.com and we will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

9. Liability

The Chalk Co. cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of our products, or for delays caused by circumstances outside our control (force majeure, carrier delays, customs, etc.).

10. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and in the absence of an amicable resolution, the competent courts of Amiens, France, shall have jurisdiction.
